ok ok I'm not REALLY giving away free things...to an extent. I've been meaning to make a new journal for quite a while but never got around to it. SO! Here are my random thoughts and links.
So, I was into this sort of Batman mood recently. I just felt like watching the Dark Knight randomly one day so I went out and bought it. I get impulses to just buy something randomly sometimes. Oh and this helped.
[link] After that I went ahead and rented the new Arkhum Asylum game and to my utter asmasement it was actually really GOOD! Usually I expect all super hero games to be utter crap. (stupid Superman 64....) I bought it the very next day! ^^ The combat is amazing. The controls are simple but the visuals are soooo good. Like Batman will react to exactly how an enemy attacks him and from what direction and and give him a "BIFF" followed by a "POW" right in the face. ok enough rambling about that.
Speaking of video games, gaming has become quite slow waiting for Modern Warfare 2. I had a smidgen of hope that Halo 3: ODST would help fill the time but I knew better AND I was right! The new Halo game is quite frankly awful. There are so many problems with it. There is a BIG problem even before starting an actual game. The loading time to that game is a great, big #&%^@#@%*&!#*%&%^#@!&$% and a half! I literaly spent five minutes staring at the screen waiting for my game to load. That is a LONG load time for a game. Next problem is continuity issues. The game is called Halo 3: ODST but it really should be called "Halo 2: ODST with Halo 3 elements" The game takes place right after that large Covenant ship does a space warp inside the city in Halo 2. But the game is totally Halo 3. All the weapons were based off of Halo 3 instead of Halo 2. (ie shotgun has 6 shots instead of 12, the brute shot has 6 shots instead of 4.) Also I never even found a single Battle-Rifle (the 3-burst one first appeared in Halo 2) Instead there were only assault-rifles (the automatic from Halo 1 crapped up even more). Why do companies always want the public to like the crappy things about their series instead of the actuall good things? It's like how Star Wars is making all this stuff to make us like the Clone Wars when it was the original three movies that made Star Wars great in the first place! Even worse (if you can't tell already I really hate continuity issues) the brutes had become the dominate race in the Covenant already AND were wearing all their fancy armor that they DID NOT GET until Halo 3. Oh and I never ONCE fought a single elite which frustrated me because I liked fighting the elites and hated fighting the brutes. Another thing Bungie thinks is better but is really crappier. They will also try to convince you that the brutes are better than elites by having random characters in the game shout out things like, "Wow, they(brutes) are more fun to fight than elites!" Oh AND ONE MORE THING (last one for now I promise) every single character (except one) in this game is so easy to hate and despise. They were all just stupid, and made horrible comments. The only good character is the main character (Who you THINK you play the entire game but you have to go through all these flashback missions playing as the other twats trying to get you to love them even though it just makes you hate them more.) because HE DOES NOT SAY A SINGLE WORD!
Soooo...Oh you wanna see something cute and adorable?
[link] Oh and how about this as well for cute and adorable?
[link] And this one?
[link] oops...sorry about the last one.
Oh speaking of anime. I found this flash where this dude takes like every single anime cliche and makes a cartoon out of it. It reminds me most of DragonBall Z but still you should watch it. It's hilarious!
[link] and here's part 2.
[link]Speaking of anime again, I've been looking for a new anime to get addicted to. Remember when I got some of you into Elfen Leid? Well then you should check out "When They Cry". It starts out as a comedy but then transitions into this horror/thriller. When I started watching it, I couldn't put it down I was on the edge of my seat. However, the story is told in a way I have never seen ANY tv show do before (You'll see what I mean after you watch a few episodes.) Give that some time. I've got like six episodes left and I'm getting all sad thinking that I'm almost done with it... TT.TT
That's all for my rambling in this journal. If you read and went to every link I posted then you must be a really GOOD friend...or are just ridiculously bored.... or insane. Go see a doctor weirdo!
